This course will provide you with the basics/foundations of dentistry and dental assisting to help you get started in your new career. You will learn all about the dental office, various types of dental professionals, and many of the basic dental procedures and instruments. You will also learn teeth names/numbers and basic oral anatomy. And at the end of this course you will learn all about infection control and receive your 8 Hour Infection Control Certification (which is a requirement of the Dental Board of California for all Dental Assistants).
Once you have purchased this course, you will have immediate access to the online lecture (didactic) portion of this module. Go ahead and get started right away! In the lab portion of this module you will learn all about proper infection control techniques. This is CRITICAL in your career in dentistry to keep yourself and your patients safe from communicable diseases. Once complete, you will receive your mandatory “8 Hour Infection Control Certification”!
